Most significant legal problems in a company do not arise from a lack of legal counsel. They arise from decisions that seemed reasonable at the time, but that over time generate costs or produce consequences that were not anticipated.
I work directly with executives, managers and shareholders on the structuring of critical corporate decisions, particularly in growth, investment and reorganization scenarios where the margin for error is low and the consequences are real.
I am the founding partner of CEG Legal, a firm I established in 2017 with a focus on matters where legal precision has a direct impact on business outcomes.
Prior to founding CEG Legal, I practiced for over twelve years at one of the most recognized law firms in Mexico, where I developed my practice in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and aviation regulation.

In 2012, during my studies at Leiden, I gained hands-on experience in aviation law at Stek (Amsterdam), a firm specializing in aviation and corporate transactions.
I have served as a professor in the graduate programs in Corporate Law and Notarial Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, lecturing Business Contracts and Corporate Law.
For me, lecturing at the graduate level is a way to keep my analytical thinking current and to stay engaged with the issues that shape practice.
I serve as the exclusive representative for Mexico of an international network of boutique law firms with a presence in more than 160 jurisdictions, in the practice areas of Aviation Law and Corporate Governance & Compliance. For cross-border matters, this means direct coordination with the best local attorneys in whichever jurisdiction the transaction requires, without the client having to manage multiple advisors across countries.
I publish analysis on regulatory developments, legislative changes, and judicial decisions that affect companies operating in regulated environments or with significant risk exposure. Through the Altos Vuelos y Negocios newsletter on LinkedIn and in collaboration with A21, I share perspectives focused on the practical implications for business decision-making.
